AnyDesk for Android
Lets the Diskman support team see and often control your Android device.
Most Android devices need an extra small plugin from the manufacturer before a technician can control the screen. AnyDesk will prompt you if yours does.
- Open the Play Store and search for AnyDesk Remote Desktop.
- Tap Install, then open the app.
- Allow the permissions it asks for, including Display over other apps.
- If AnyDesk offers to install an AnyDesk control plugin for your device brand (Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi and others), install it. Without it the technician can only watch, not control.
- Your address appears on the main screen. Pass it to the Diskman technician.
- When the connection request appears, tap Accept, then Start now on the screen capture prompt.
- To end the session, open the AnyDesk notification and tap the disconnect button.
Never give your AnyDesk address to someone who contacts you out of the blue. Scammers ask for AnyDesk and TeamViewer access by pretending to be from Google, the ATO, your bank or your telco. Only ever share it during a session you started by contacting us.
