AnyDesk for Mac

Lets the Diskman support team connect to your Mac to fix a problem.

macOS requires two security permissions before a technician can control your Mac. This is normal and you can revoke them afterwards.
  1. Click the download button below to go to the official AnyDesk download page for macOS.
  2. Click Download Now and open the downloaded .dmg file.
  3. Drag the AnyDesk icon into the Applications folder, then open it from Applications.
  4. If macOS says the app is from the internet, click Open.
  5. AnyDesk will show a permissions screen. Click each button and macOS will open System Settings.
  6. In System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, switch AnyDesk on.
  7. In System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording, switch AnyDesk on. Without this the technician sees a blank screen.
  8. You may be asked to enter your Mac password and to quit and reopen AnyDesk. Do so.
  9. Pass the number under Your Address to the Diskman technician, then click Accept when the connection request appears.
  10. Click the red disconnect button at any time to end the session.

Never give your AnyDesk address to someone who contacts you out of the blue. Scammers ask for AnyDesk and TeamViewer access by pretending to be from Apple, Microsoft, the ATO, your bank or your telco. Only ever share it during a session you started by contacting us.
To remove the permissions afterwards, go back to System Settings → Privacy & Security and switch AnyDesk off in both lists.
Stuck on any step? Open a support ticket with support@diskman.net and we will walk you through it.
